This was a special project that I was asked to be involved in. Once I found out the circumstances around this project, I of course said YES!
You see, Pat Raymond was an employee of Engelberth Construction, Inc for 24 years. He worked as a superintendent right up until he found out that he had cancer. The company wanted to do something special in thanks for all his years of service and to recognize a member of Engelberth's family. So they asked me if I'd film a fun video we could send to Pat that would involve a lot of his coworkers.
So together with help from Gina in Human Resources and Karen and Tammy in Marketing we brainstormed a story. From that story I came up with a shot list and began filming. I travelled to job sites both far and near. Everyone was excited to be apart of the video and made time for the project. In a weeks time we went from concept to finished video. We shipped off copies to all the jobsites involved and sent one off to Pat and his family. We even heard that Pat did get to see it. We heard that he chuckled and said it was cute.
